This image is a part of an overlapping image series. When dealing with 2-dimensional images it can appear flat and boring. It would be ideal to add some depth and movement and one way to achieve this is to overlap images. As we see here the word 'BLAH' is overlapped and designed in a manner that draws interest from the viewer, hopefully long enough to read the message.
